Very Berry Crunch Dessert

Ingredients:                 Serves 8
6 cups fresh berries (raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, boysenberries, huckleberries, saskatoons, mulberries, or you can use a 16 oz bag of frozen Berry Medley.

¾ cup DFM whole white wheat flour
3 tablespoons butter
2/3 cup brown sugar
¾ cup rolled oats
2 tablespoons oil
1/3 cup chopped nuts (optional)

How TO:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine berries in a large bowl. Dust lightly with a spoonful of flour and mix gently. Pour into a 9X9 inch baking pan.
  3. Mix flour, oats, butter, oil, sugar, and nuts together until crumbly. Sprinkle topping over fruit. Bake in a preheated oven about 30 minutes. Fruit should bubble and top should be golden brown. Can be served warm or cold.
