Mom’s Cracked Whole White Wheat Bread 4 cups boiling water Pour boiling water over cracked wheat to soften. Then stir in honey or brown sugar, butter and salt. Let cool to lukewarm. Add yeast and flours. Adding enough flour to make a nice firm bread dough (not too sticky), let rise till doubled. Punch down and form into 4 loaves. Bake @ 350° for about 30 – 40 minutes.
