Mom's Ginger Snaps
2 cups sugar Mix sugar and shortening. Add molasses and eggs. Mix well. Add dry ingredients. Roll dough into 1 1/2" balls. Flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 for 11 - 12 minutes or until crackly and firm.
